Confirmation
We are preparing for the 2022-23 confirmation and commissioning class which begins on September 7th. The primary purpose of the class is to provide instruction and discussion that will enable your youth to understand and profess a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The secondary purpose is to provide instruction and experiences that will enable your youth to understand and participate in the worship and mission of the church.
Pastor James York from North Presbyterian Church in St. Paul and Pastor Riz will be teaming up to teach the class. There will be confirmands from both congregations. We will alternate class location between North and New Life on Wednesday evenings.
Please note the “Parent & Youth Orientation” will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 5:00pm at New Life Presbyterian Church, Roseville. We will be discussing the purpose and expectations for confirmation as well as signing up to provide meals. At 5:30 parents are free to leave. At 5:30 the confirmands will enjoy dinner together followed by class until 7:30. If you cannot attend please contact me in advance so we can discuss this information before September 7.
